TNMAWS Hall Ticket 2024 – The Department of Municipal Administration and Water Supply, Tamil Nadu (TNMAWS) will hold a written examination for the vacancies listed in Advertisement No. 01/DMA/RECRUITMENT/2024. The online application forms for different roles in TNMAWS, such as Assistant Engineers, Junior Engineers, Technical Assistants, Draughtsmen, Overseers, and so on, were accepted between February 9 and March 12, 2024. This recruitment campaign will fill a total of 1933 jobs. The applicants will be chosen based on their performance in the different selection stages.
TNMAWS Paper Pattern 2024
The written test is the first part of the selection process. It is split into two major papers and administered using the OMR technique.
Paper I
The Subject Paper: This paper focuses on the specific subject or discipline in which the candidate earned their degree or diploma certification. Civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering are among the courses offered, as are town planning and architecture. Each candidate gets assessed on the subject related to the position they have applied for.
Duration: three hours.
Maximum marks: 300.
Minimum qualifying marks vary depending on the candidate’s category (153 for restricted categories and 204 for others).
Paper II
Objective Type:This paper is further divided into two parts
Part A: Tamil Eligibility Test (SSLC Standard) It consists of of 100 questions with a total of 150 marks. This component assesses a candidate’s skill in Tamil. To be evaluated for Paper I and Part B of Paper II, you must have at least 60 marks (40% of 150).
Part B – General Studies: This phase contains 75 questions on general knowledge linked to the degree or diploma grade of the applied post, as well as 25 questions on aptitude and mental ability at the SSLC level, for a total of 100 questions and 150 marks.
