NABARD Development Assistant Job 2026 Eligibility criteria
Educational qualifications:

Development Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates). Knowledge of word processing on a PC is mandatory.

Development Assistant (Hindi): Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University in English/Hindi medium with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates) OR Bachelor's Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates). Candidates must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice versa. Knowledge of word processing on a PC is mandatory.

NABARD Development Assistant Selection Process
The selection process will consist of three phases:

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Online) - Objective type, qualifying in nature.

Phase-II: Main Examination (Online) - Objective and Descriptive type.

Language Proficiency Test (LPT) - Qualifying in nature. Conducted for candidates provisionally selected from the Main Examination.
Note: There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the objective tests in both Phase-I and Phase-II. 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
